This original 1934 restaurant is filled with autographed playbills, theatrical antiques, the original stage, a really cool front door bordered by horse-hitches, AND affordable food! 57 East 54th Street, near Park Avenue. For an interesting night out, you might also take in The Monkey Bar in the Hotel Elysee. There you'll sip drinks surrounded by 1920s murals of frisky monkeys. 69 E. 54th Street. Both are close to MOMA and other cultural attractions. Photo by Karen Little.
